Oysters shaped by the sea for several years
Hélie Oysters are a true gem, the result of a rare combination of calm and stirred waters within the oldest oyster bay in Normandy. The bays of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, sheltered from the winds by the island of Tatihou, offer an ideal natural environment for exceptional oysters. Here, the tides, among the strongest in Europe, constantly stir the nutrient-rich waters, promoting regular and natural growth.
Supported by a family business that wishes to pass on a heritage, our enterprise has been preserved authentic and innovative oyster farming since 1952, combining passion and respect for the environment. Oysters grow in bags and cages, regularly turned to promote a regular shape and generous flesh. This care that we bring to each stage of production guarantees freshness and reveals oysters with a crunchy texture and delicately iodized notes, appreciated by connoisseurs and awarded at the Salon de l’Agriculture.
Whether for a tasting at home or at the greatest tables, Hélie Oysters are the promise of a moment of pure gastronomy.
